FAQ

  • How do I book a therapeutic massage session?

Booking is easy! You can schedule your therapeutic massage session online through our secure booking platform Vagaro at www.vagaro.com/touchmedmassage, by email at contact@touchmedmassage.com, call at (407) 807-0955, or in person at our location. If you’re unsure which service is best for your needs, feel free to contact us for a quick consultation.

  • When should I arrive for my massage appoinment?

We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early to complete any necessary intake forms, discuss your goals, and allow time to relax before your session. For returning patients, arriving 5 minutes early is usually sufficient.

  • How do I cancel a service that I’ve scheduled?

To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance by phone or through our online booking system.

Late cancellations may be subject to a fee equal to 50% to 100% of the scheduled service, depending on notice and circumstances.

  • What if I fail to show for a scheduled massage or arrive late?

No-shows will be charged the full price of the scheduled service. If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time to respect the next clients appointment. Full session fees will apply. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a smooth and respectful schedule for all clients.

  • What side effects might I experience after a Medical Massage session?

It is normal to experience mild side effects after a Medical Massage session, especially if the treatment focused on areas of chronic tension, injury, or restricted movement. Some clients may notice temporary muscle soreness, tenderness, fatigue, mild bruising (particularly after cupping or instrument-assisted techniques), or slight dizziness. These effects are typically mild and resolve within 24–72 hours. Drinking water, gentle stretching, and allowing your body time to rest can help support recovery. If you experience severe pain, significant swelling, prolonged symptoms, or anything that concerns you, please contact your healthcare provider and inform your massage therapist. Most clients report improved mobility, reduced pain, and a greater sense of well-being once the body has adjusted to the treatment.
